Trainee GP

We recently welcomed a trainee GP to our practice. His name is Chamid Haman
To become a general practitioner, a doctor must complete a three-year training program after finishing their medical studies. During this program, they are trained in the specific skills required to practice as a general practitioner. The trainee general practitioner will be with us at the practice for one year. For clarity: a trainee general practitioner is a qualified doctor who has already graduated.
You may be treated by the trainee general practitioner. In principle, you will always be asked if you agree to this.
For you as a patient, there are clear advantages to this training situation. The trainee GP has more consultation hours and is available more quickly.
In addition, all consultations and visits by the trainee GP are discussed and analyzed with your own GP, so two doctors are looking at your problem. And in the long term, you are helping to ensure that there will be good GPs in the future.
